Girl's Room Dilemma

One of my clients had purchased some Pottery Barn bedding through eBay for her young girl's room that she's redoing. Recently she fell in love with a headboard from the Dwell Studio collection at Target. Since she couldn't return the bedding, she was wondering if it would work with the headboard. I suggested adding brightly colored pillows to help balance out the heavy contrast of the stripes. These pillows from Target would be perfect and now she can safely buy the headboard she's been coveting!

Perfect, Lisa! Thank you!!! Another question--would it be too "busy" to do a display of artwork (not unlike the one you did in my living room) above the headboard?

No. That would be fun! I would keep it a bit more simple than the living room though - a few larger pieces of artwork sprinkled with some smaller pieces. Focus on similar bright colors for balance and keep most of the frames in the same color family.
