Plywood Walls and Ceilings

Lately, I've been thinking about what to do with our sloped ceiling in the living/dining room. I love the height that it adds to the room, but a previous owner decided that it would be a good idea to make it a popcorn ceiling. I beg to differ. I absolutely love the plywood treatment that I saw in the December issue of Sunset. And it's a relatively inexpensive way to make a huge impact. Very cozy!

We're in the middle of drawing up plans for our first studio and the architect suggested plywood walls! I wasn't completely sold at first, until I saw them in black and white. I'm not a huge fan of the brown, but I really really love the gray and black versions.
