Vacation
Tuesday, August 31, 2010 I took a little time off recently. It's amazing that I don't do that more often. It is one of the reasons I chose to have my own business, after all. It was wonderful driving a little bit North to the Verde Valley and spending time with my parents. The weather was a bit cooler than Phoenix, so I spent as much time as I could outdoors. Here are some photos that I captured with my camera phone as proof.

Breakfast at the Sedona Golf Resort. I took this shot from our table on the patio. And the best thing is the food isn't very expensive, considering the million dollar views. $8.95 for eggs benedict!

Jerome, AZ is perched up in Mingus Mountain and has three wine tasting rooms, great restaurants, shops and galleries...and it's haunted!

I always love visiting Old Town Cottonwood since it's ever changing and is home to my parents. This time around, I noticed a couple of wine tasting rooms, one if which is Arizona Stronghold which was founded by Maynard Keenan of the band TOOL and the other is Pillsbury Wine Company, founded by New Zealand film director and winemaker Sam Pillsbury.
I have to go back soon though, because Verde Valley Olive Oil Traders was closed when I was there. And I definitely plan to explore the Verde Valley Wine Trail.
